AT-6 Spiral
The 9P149 is a Tank destroyer based on the MT-LB hull equipped with a retractable launcher of high velocity radio frequency guided 9M114 Kokon (Nato AT-6 Spiral) missile. The MT-LB troop compartment is occupied by a retractable pedestal launcher that is connected to an automatic loader. Instead of the usual front compartment machine gun turret a large optical tracker is fitted The maximum range of the missile is 5 km and most modern tanks can be effectively destroyed
The Ace Model Kit does not present any particular problem, and this model is the second version of the Kit (grey color sprues ) whose tracks are easier to mount. No after market set was used for this kit which was nevertheless improved

The aiming system, typical of this machine, has been improved and detailed to represent the optics shutter and antenna retraction mechanism during the shooting phases. Other improvements were made on the Hatch and the launcher
